　　Our educational commitments are, firstly, instilling students with correct core values, good character, and excellent traditional Chinese morals; secondly, creating a high quality teaching and learning relationship, emphasizing comprehensive academic ability, imagination, critical thinking, and innovation; thirdly, creating cultural tolerance, intercultural competence, and appreciation of different cultures in a harmonious and multicultural environment. Moreover, we seek to develop students’ various language abilities, communication skills and capacity for lifelong learning. Last but not least, the school encourages the recognition of personal growth and attempts to arouse students' moral consciousness and sense of responsibility and mission.

　　我們的國(guó)際課程涵蓋北美高中課程、特色課程、會(huì)考課程和融合課程。

　　The international curriculum developed by us is based upon the North American High School Curriculum, which is supplemented by Xiwai specialized courses, four compulsory examination courses, and integrated courses.

　　北美課程作為西外國(guó)際課程核心內(nèi)容之一，主要囊括九大模塊，他們分別是：A. 語(yǔ)言、B. 數(shù)學(xué)、C. 社會(huì)科學(xué)、D. 自然科學(xué)、E. 信息技術(shù)、F. 藝術(shù)與設(shè)計(jì)、G. 個(gè)人衛(wèi)生與健康、H. 社會(huì)參與與公民意識(shí)、I. 選修課。

　　The North American High School Curriculum is composed of modules in nine core subject areas: A) Language, B) Math, C) Social Science, D) Natural Science, E) ICT, F) Art & Design, G) Personal Hygiene and Health, H) CAS (creativity, action, and service), and I) Elective Courses.

　　特色課程包括文學(xué)創(chuàng)意寫作(中英文創(chuàng)作型)、西外民生小銀行(項(xiàng)目型)、趣味化學(xué)(試驗(yàn)型)、烹飪課程(實(shí)踐型)和戲劇課程(跨學(xué)科)等。

　　Specialized courses include Creative Writing, Xiwai Bank, Fun Chemistry, Cooking and Drama.

　　會(huì)考課程開設(shè)語(yǔ)文、地理、政治和歷史四門課。

　　Chinese courses include four compulsory examination courses. The Examination Courses are Chinese, Geography, Politics and History.

　　融合課程指導(dǎo)學(xué)生理解不同文化和社會(huì)的政治、宗教、歷史，培養(yǎng)學(xué)生跨文化思維和交際的能力。

　　Integrated courses guide students towards an understanding of different cultures, social politics, religion, and history and enable them to better navigate cross-cultural situations.
